Modern Insurgent is an independent media organisation with 40+ writers, reporters, and media professionals from over 20 countries around the world. Our work focuses on insurgencies, rebel organisations, and political movements.
Our goal is to build the largest and most comprehensive database of political mobilisation in the world. Through on-the-ground documentaries in zones of conflict and through scholarly articles, we are committed to producing impartial coverage on every single mobilised group worldwide. We are entirely independent, meaning we receive no investment from corporate entities or political organisations.
