Jean Franco

Jean is an Italian student and researcher with a main interest in the Arabian Sea region. From Yemen to the Indian subcontinent, Jean tries to focus on using source-language materials and OSINT to get to the heart of issues. He is a recent graduate in Arabic and Persian from the University of Oxford, as well as a freelance translator and teacher - he strongly believes that a good understanding of language and culture is essential to any kind of research work. If he is not monitoring conflict areas, you'll probably find him trying to learn a new language or working on his publication FARSANG Journal.
