Walter Niehoff

Walter is a researcher and analyst hailing from Maine, USA. Born during the height of the Global War on Terror, he has become a lifelong student of irregular warfare and its practitioners. Walter has a long-running fascination with the logistics, C4ISR capabilities, and support networks of non-state armed groups. He has previously had work published as a guest contributor for Militant Wire. He is conversational in Spanish and a current student of the Turkish language and has plans to work in Türkiye after he graduates from college with a degree in global studies. Besides conducting research, he enjoys reading books and learning Turkish.
